This seasoned hilarious troupe's comedy style is similar to the popular TV show "Whose Line is It Anyway?". The evening requires interactive madcap involvement of the audience with scene suggestions and volunteer opportunities. The AOP Improv troupe has a varied and eclectic cast of professionals whose day jobs include author, teachers, tradesmen, doctor, salespeople, and corporate executives that have been laughing together for over thirteen years. Performance Style:
Our improv comedy style is similar to that of the hit TV show "Whose line is it anyway?”. Audiences easily recognize the format & can engage in the participation component of the show. We normally provide 5 to 6 high engird performers per show to really get the crowd going. We perform popular audience interactive skits taking suggestions geared to both a PG-13 and R-rated audience depending on the crowd.
Performance Requirements:
We do not need microphones & prefer focused performance lighting. We prefer some sort of raised platform for a focused performance area but can work on ground level as well. Because our set/up & needs are so minimal we are able to adapt to just about any crowd or situation.

Accidentally on Purpose (AOP) has been performing in New England since 2011. Three of the original founding performers have been together since the group's conception having performed professionally in the Boston area for years prior. We have also cultivated a bevy of performers over the years by carry a rotating troupe of up to ten improvers at a time. We hold open auditions on a rotating basis and are always on the prowl for new diverse performers. This keeps our existing improvers sharp & constantly bringing new energy & comedy styles to our audience. No show is ever the same.
